Electric & induction hob repairs in London & Surrey

Electric & induction hob repair enquiries across London, inside the M25 and Surrey. Fault information, model guidance and visit preparation with UKCDA.

Help with your electric & induction hob

An unresponsive zone or an error on an induction hob can be frustrating. We assess electric and induction hob enquiries with the model and symptoms in hand.

Common reasons to request a repair

  • Zone not heating
  • Touch controls not responding
  • Display error
  • Intermittent operation

A single zone or the whole hob?

Explain whether one zone fails, several zones are affected or the touch controls do not respond. For an induction hob, note any displayed symbol or message exactly as it appears. Tell us if the glass is cracked or if the supply has tripped. Stop using damaged equipment rather than testing other zones.

Induction, ceramic and integrated extraction

Please identify the hob type and mention a built-in extractor if present. Combination models can have electrical, cabinet and ducting requirements that need separate assessment. A replacement hob also needs its cut-out dimensions and required electrical supply checked; an existing opening does not establish compatibility.

Before the engineer visits

Include the full model and error code. A cracked glass surface should not be used. Electrical supply changes are quoted separately.

The office will explain the visit charges and confirm an appointment. If additional parts or work are needed, the engineer discusses the options before proceeding. Repair suitability depends on the model, fault, condition and parts availability.

Brands and model information

Choose your brand for model-number guidance and repair enquiry information.

Replacing a built-in appliance?

We also accept built-in electric & induction hob installation requests. Include the new model, cabinet measurements and removal requirements.

Your electric & induction hob repair questions

Does this cover gas hobs?

This page is for electric and induction enquiries. Gas appliance work must be discussed separately and requires appropriately qualified personnel.

Can you replace a hob as well as assess a fault?

Choose Installation for a replacement and provide both model numbers. Electrical changes, worktop alterations and extraction changes are separately assessed and quoted.
