INDEPENDENT BOSCH REPAIR ENQUIRIES

Bosch electric & induction hob repairs in London & Surrey

An induction zone that does not recognise a pan, a touch panel that does not respond and a hob that loses power are different reports. Tell UKCDA which behaviour you see on your Bosch electric or induction hob. We use the model and affected zones to establish the enquiry’s scope.

Identify the zone and the displayed behaviour

Describe whether one zone, a group of zones or the whole appliance is affected. Note the symbol or code exactly and whether it appears immediately or after cooking has started. For pan-recognition concerns, include the cookware you normally use and whether the issue began with different pans. These are observations for assessment, not a reason to assume the glass or a power module must be replaced.

Treat the installation and the appliance separately

Mention recent kitchen or electrical work, a new worktop and anything else changed before the fault began. Supply or cabinet alterations are not automatically part of a hob repair. Leave the hob fixed in the worktop; its underside and wiring are not areas to expose for a model-number search. Stop using cracked glass or an appliance that trips the electrical circuit.

Details to include with this request

  • Bosch E-Nr from accessible paperwork or appliance identification.
  • Electric ceramic or induction type and the zone positions affected.
  • Exact display message and when it appears during normal use.
  • Recent fitting or electrical changes and any visible surface damage.

Identify the exact Bosch model

Bosch’s model finder identifies the E-Nr, FD and serial-number details on the appliance rating label. Bosch UK model-number finder

Copy the complete reference as printed, including any suffix. Use an accessible label or your appliance paperwork; leave built-in units, electrical covers and heavy appliances in place. If the label cannot be reached safely, explain this when you contact us.

If you are considering a replacement

A replacement hob needs a compatible worktop opening, suitable clearances and an appropriate electrical connection. Send the installation requirements for the proposed model; a similar outside width does not prove it will fit.

Bosch electric & induction hob repair questions

Can you repair a hob that affects only one zone?

You can submit that enquiry. Identify the zone and whether the rest behave normally, but do not keep testing a damaged or unsafe surface. The office confirms the work required for the particular model.

Does this include Bosch gas hobs?

This page is for electric and induction hob enquiries. If the hob uses gas or combines fuel types, tell the office before booking so the necessary specialist arrangements can be confirmed separately.

Arranging a visit inside the M25 or in Surrey

Send the full address, appliance details and best visit contact. UKCDA checks the enquiry, explains the applicable charges and confirms an appointment with you. Parts availability and further work are assessed for the individual appliance. The request form does not take payment or reserve a visit.
