Be specific about a Slide & Hide door concern
Slide & Hide is NEFF’s retracting oven-door design; it is not present on every NEFF oven. If your model has it, describe where the movement changes: opening, retracting, bringing the door forward or closing. Tell us about visible damage without forcing the mechanism. Do not assume instructions for a conventional hinged door apply to a retracting-door model.
Record the heating fault by cavity and mode
A grill that works while another cooking function does not is useful information, as is a problem limited to one cavity of a double oven. Give the selected mode, the displayed temperature and any warning message from the last normal use. Leave an oven unused if it has damaged glass or trips the circuit. Mention whether it is built at eye level or under the worktop.

Identify the exact NEFF model
NEFF’s service assistant uses the E-Nr to find the appliance’s manuals and support information. NEFF UK service assistant
Copy the complete reference as printed, including any suffix. Use an accessible label or your appliance paperwork; leave built-in units, electrical covers and heavy appliances in place. If the label cannot be reached safely, explain this when you contact us.
For the manufacturer’s explanation of the feature discussed here, see NEFF’s explanation of Slide & Hide ovens.
If you are considering a replacement
For a new built-in oven, check the cabinet opening, electrical requirements and room for the intended door movement. Mention any adjacent drawers or handles that could obstruct access.

NEFF oven repair questions
Does every NEFF oven use the same door mechanism?
No. Describe the design you actually have and supply its model reference. The brand name or a similar-looking handle is not enough to establish which door components or procedures apply.
Can I enquire about the door even if heating is normal?
Yes. A door problem can be the main reason for the enquiry. Tell the office whether it closes normally and whether anything is visibly damaged; avoid using the oven if its safe closure or glass is in doubt.
